The milk here tastes funny. It's not bad, it's just not right.
Anyway I have not had internet connection until Monday night and I have been so busy with classes that I haven't had a lot of time to log on. So I went to see the Batu Caves and there were a huge amount of steps and all these scary monkeys that had no fear of humans. I was petrified that one of them was going to bite me!
I also went to the Butterfly and Bird parks.

Day Two
So, yesterday I went to the zoo with my mom. There was an adorable baby hippo! (I'll post pictures later). They have many animals ranging from otters to elephants (gajas).
Sunday, I went to check out the street market, where they have an amazing array of knock-offs. My uncle bought Avatar, but when the blue people speak in a foreign tongue the subtitles are in Cyrillic, rather than English.
Today I hope to go back to the street market as well checking out the polo grounds. I also want to see the Batu caves.

The first step in traveling...
Arriving at the airport. (Actually it is buying the tickets and then packing, but that is a very dull topic--even worse than the topic of the airplane.)
Getting through security was easy; long line, but otherwise simple and uneventful. Once I was through security there was the boring process of waiting for the boarding to start. Finally at 11:25 p.m. the plane started boarding. Then I took my seat and went to sleep. I slept for most of the flight, watched three movies and ate, surprisingly, an okay dinner and breakfast.
The flight was freezing and dry, so my skin is now all itchy, ugh, but the service was good and there was only some slight turbulence.
Now I am waiting for my connection to KL in the Hong Kong airport. They have about 6 Christmas songs that repeat over and over again and none of the shops are open because it is 8 a.m. in the morning. Luckily, Starbucks was open so I was able to take in some caffeine.
I will arrive in KL around 12 p.m. so I won't get to sleep until late tonight. Did I mention that I lost a day? Yes, January 2, 2010 went poof! Seriously, I boarded the plane at 11:40 p.m. on January 1, 2010 and arrived in HK at 6:33 a.m. on January 3, 2010.
